Privacy Policy
Simmons Home Design (“Simmons Home Design,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds and repairs screen enclosures, patio covers, pergolas, sunrooms, glass rooms, and related outdoor living structures for homeowners along the Texas Gulf Coast. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at simmonshomedesign.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
If you contact us, request a quote, or use this website, you are agreeing to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information to us.
Quick summary
- We collect the contact details you give us when you request a quote, call, or text — and basic technical information about your visit.
- We use that information to respond to you, schedule and perform work, and improve the website.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or share your phone number or text-message opt-in with anyone for their own marketing.
- You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time.
1. Information you give us
You choose whether to give us information. We collect it when you:
- Submit a quote or contact form on this website — typically your name, email address, phone number, the city or ZIP where the project is located, the type of project you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.
- Call or text us at 346-617-4031 — your phone number, and whatever you tell us during the conversation.
- Email us — your email address and message contents.
- Become a customer — the project address, measurements, photos of your property, scheduling details, and records of the work performed and warranty coverage. If you pay us, payment is handled directly between you and us or through your lender or payment provider; we do not process or store full card numbers on this website.
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers through the website forms.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some technical information automatically:
- Server logs kept by our hosting provider and security layer — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. These are used for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- Analytics data — which pages you view, how you arrived, roughly where you are located (city or region level), and what device you used. This is collected through Google Analytics 4 and only after you accept analytics cookies through our consent banner.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to quote requests, questions, and warranty claims;
- Prepare estimates, schedule site visits, and perform and support the work you hire us to do;
- Send you service messages about your project — appointment confirmations, scheduling changes, and follow-up;
- Keep records required for warranty, permitting, insurance, tax, and accounting purposes;
- Protect the website against spam, fraud, and abuse;
- Understand which pages and service areas are useful to visitors so we can improve the site.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not run advertising retargeting pixels on this website.
4. Cookies and consent
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This website uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function, to remember your cookie choices, to keep forms working, and to protect against spam and attacks. These are set regardless of consent because the site cannot operate without them.
- Statistics cookies — set by Google Analytics to measure site usage. These are only set if you accept them.
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the site footer, which brings you to the control below, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Refusing statistics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their own settings. Our site respects browser-level opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where our consent tools detect them.
5. Text messages (SMS)
Our phone number, 346-617-4031, can receive text messages as well as calls.
- We send text messages only to people who have contacted us, requested a quote, or are existing customers — and only about their inquiry or project. We do not send bulk marketing blasts.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Message frequency varies with the stage of your project.
- You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us in any other way. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 346-617-4031.
- We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the service providers described in Section 6 that help us deliver our own messages.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers who help us run the business and the website. These currently include our web host and its infrastructure and security providers, our website analytics provider (Google), the spam-protection service on our forms (Google reCAPTCHA), and the tools that store form submissions and send us email notifications. Each is permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Subcontractors and suppliers working on your specific project, and only the details they need — for example a project address and scope for a materials delivery or an inspection.
- Permitting authorities and homeowners associations, where a permit or architectural approval is required for your project.
- Professional advisors such as our accountant, insurer, or attorney, when needed.
- Legal requirements — if we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- A business transfer — if the business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction. We would notify you before your information became subject to a materially different policy.
Third-party services used on this website
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console — website measurement and search performance. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics Opt-out.
- Google reCAPTCHA v2 — protects our forms from automated spam. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Google Reviews — customer reviews shown on the site are pulled from our public Google Business Profile. We do not receive additional personal information about you from this display.
- Hosting and content delivery — our website is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare, which process request data including your IP address in order to serve pages and block malicious traffic.
These providers may process data on servers outside your state or country. Where that happens, they are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards under their own policies.
7. How long we keep information
- Quote requests that do not become projects — generally kept up to 24 months so we can follow up and recognize repeat inquiries, then deleted.
- Customer and project records — kept for the length of the applicable warranty period plus the time required by tax, insurance, and contract-record rules. Because we offer a 5-year workmanship warranty on qualifying installations, project records are typically retained for at least that long.
- Website analytics — retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, and reported to us only in aggregated form.
- Server and security logs — retained for a short period by our host and security provider, typically weeks rather than years.
We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for the purposes above, unless we are required to keep it.
8. How we protect information
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to form submissions and customer records is limited to the people who need it to do the work. We keep the website software, plugins, and security tools updated, and we use spam filtering and login protection on the administrative side.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any required authority as the law directs.
9. Your choices and rights
You can, at any time:
- Ask what we hold about you and request a copy;
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep;
- Opt out of marketing or follow-up contact — by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply telling us;
- Withdraw cookie consent using the Cookie Settings link in the site footer;
- Appeal a decision we make about one of these requests, by replying to our response.
Texas has a consumer privacy law, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and other states have their own. Rather than argue about which thresholds apply to a business our size, we extend the rights above to anyone who asks, wherever you live. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will verify your request — usually by confirming details only you would know, such as the phone number or email address you used with us — and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
10. Children
This website is intended for homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites — manufacturers, building code and permitting resources, and similar. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their policies before providing information to them.

13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will make a more visible notice on the website. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
